Catching up, finally! We celebrated Jacqueline's birthday the end of April. Here is the crazy, little bug at the glorious age of two!

Spring is "our season" for birthdays. Five out of the seven of us have birthdays in March and April.
Caroline's birthday is in March. Then Pete began his 48th birthday with Breakfast-in-Bed, made by the Fabulous-Five-Gallus-Girls ALL BY THEMSELVES!!
Madeleine made the eggs. Erika cut up the fruit. Dorothy Jo made the toast, and Caroline made the hot chocolate!!! Jacqueline just ran around the kitchen making trouble, so Madeleine got smart and plopped her on the couch to watch a video. My job was to keep Pete in bed :-)

And for once, Pete looks awful in a picture (he's very photogenic!) and the girls look so CUTE, so I had to post this just for Uncle Scott, who LOVES to say "Pete, MAN....you look AWFUL there!"
Next up was Madeleine, who turned NINE this year!

Moving right along (barely)......my 40th.....celebrated with my favorite: CHEESECAKE & WINE!
And, then these crazy-people showed up at the door with a GIGANTIC candle, singing "Happy Birthday!" One of them, then perched himself right in the middle of the kitchen, looking like THIS:

Jacqueline's 2nd birthday is next week, but we may celebrate while my brother is in town visiting this weekend. The fun just keeps on going. *wink*
My lovely maid-of-honor turned FIFTY!!!!!
Pete and I attended her "surprise" birthday party, where there was lots of food, lots of Italians, and lots of music and dancing, as usual!!
