Madeleine's Narration from Chapter 1 of Raggedy Ann

Marcella found Raggedy Ann in the old barrell with a picture of a little girl, a mother and a father.  She snatched up the doll and ran downstairs to show her grandmother.  Grandma gave Marcella the Raggedy Ann dolly.  Grandma introduced the other rag dolls to Marcella. 

"Oh dear, where have you found the rag doll?" 

"Up in the attic," Marcella said. 

"My oh my, you were locked in the attic for a long time, Raggedy Ann."  The end.

   

 

Narration from Madeleine-Organizing Clothes!

This is how I organized my shelves in the armoire today:

This is the bottom shelf.  First we used a basket to separate the clothes. Then, I separated my skirts and my shirts into the back.  Then I putted the shorts together. And then I put all the capris together.  And then, um, I setted ‘em apart, and then I stacked them, and then separated them. 

This is the top shelf.  First, I put them in the basket.  Then I putted my short sleeved shirts in the front, and I put my not-favorite shirts in the front with my t-shirts, and then I putted my favorite long-sleeved shirts in the back.  And, then I putted my really-not-favorite-clothes in the very back.
